Delete your Karmatica account
You can delete your account at any time. It removes your account and everything in it: your activities, completions, karma, streaks and stars, timers, evening reviews and journal, settings and devices.
In the app
- Open Karmatica on your iPhone or Android phone, or sign in to the web app at app.karmatica.app.
- Go to Settings → Privacy & data → Delete account.
- Confirm with your password.
You’re signed out straight away and your account is locked. It’s deleted for good 7 days later, and until then you can reactivate it by logging in with your usual details. If you’d like a copy of your data, email us before it’s deleted (below), because afterwards there’s nothing left to send.
If you can’t use the app
Email support@karmatica.app from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We’ll confirm it’s really you, delete it, and reply when it’s done.
What happens to your data
- Your account is locked straight away and kept for 7 days, so you can reactivate it. Then it and everything in it are removed from our database for good.
- Copies in our encrypted backups are gone within 30 days after that.
- A short security record of the deletion is kept, holding only one-way codes instead of your account ID and IP address (see the Privacy Policy).
- Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a Personal Plus subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings, or you may keep being charged.
